The Official Mexican Standard NOM-144-SEMARNAT-2017 establishes the phytosanitary measures and requirements for the internationally recognized marking of wood packaging used in the international trade of goods and merchandise.

Considering that packaging is essential in international trade for the movement and protection of goods and merchandise, and aware that such wooden packaging is commonly made from non-manufactured wood, which lacks a sufficient procedure or treatment to eliminate live pests present in freshly cut raw wood.

As part of our service portfolio, we offer FUMIGATION of wood inside containers to comply with the official standard. This helps our clients meet the phytosanitary measures established by the authorities in Mexico.
